St. Patty’s Parade

Everyone’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day! Enjoy New York City’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The festivities begin on the 17th of March. Watch floats and folks glide by in green along fifth avenue here in Manhattan. The event is free, and will likely attract over two million people to watch!

The Macy’s Flower Show

Macy’s loves to be present in the New York culture. And Macy’s loves Spring. Starting March 22nd, Macy’s puts on a flower show entitled “Art in Bloom.” Head to the Macy’s at Herald Square between the 22nd of March and April 4th to find greenery, foliage, and blooms galore throughout Macy’s ground floor. Learn more about the flower show from the Macy’s website, and feel free to check out one of their many open-to-the-public workshops!

Brooklyn Botanic Garden & Central Park

As March and April approach, the trees and flowers are sure to be in bloom. If you’re looking to enjoy the natural displays of spring, head to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden or Central Park. The Brooklyn Botanic Garden features cherry-blossom trees, and it only costs ten bucks to view the blossoms in bloom. Check out the cherry-blossoms between April 1st and 26th. Meanwhile, of course, Central Park is free!
