Times Square is best known for the New Year’s Eve ball drop at midnight, but there are plenty of other attractions that keep folks flocking to Times Square. The Times Square NASDAQ sign is the largest LED sign in the world, a whopping 37-feet tall. It cost some $37 million to construct. But this is just one of many, many signs and billboards throughout Times Square. In fact, New York City zoning requires that new buildings are covered in billboards, making this area arguably the advertisement-heavy area in the world!
