Public Transit Services
New York City Buses provide service between LaGuardia and Manhattan and Queens with connections to New York City Subways for destinations beyond.
For services between LaGuardia and Manhattan, the M60 bus goes to 106th Broadway via 125th street in Manhattan and Astoria Blvd. in Queens. Key connections include the N and Q subway trains at Hoyt Avenue/31st; the 4, 5,and 6 subway trains at Lexington avenue; and the Metro-North Railroad at Park Avenue .
For Service between LaGuardia and western Queens or Midtown Manhattan, take the Q33 orQ47 buses. Connections to the #, F,M< R and 7 trains on the New York City subway are available at Roosevelt Avenue/74th street. For service to Astoria, Queens use the M60 bus and transfer to the N or Q subway trains at Hoyt Avenue/31st Street
For service between LaGuardia and central Queens, use the Q72 (corona and Rego Park) and Q48 (flushing) bus routes.
The Bus fare is $2.50 (metro card or exact change), Except $3.00 when a single ride-ticket is purchased. Metro card vending machines are available at most terminals within the airport. For passengers using metro cards, free transfers are available between buses and subways.

Newark Liberty Taxi Information
Tipping is customary for good service.
During weekday rush hours- mornings (6AM to 9AM) and afternoons (4PM to 7PM) and on weekends (Saturdays and Sunday from 12PM to 8PM)- there is an additional $5 surcharge to all points in the State or NY except Staten Island.
It is unlawful for an owner or driver of a taxi cab to charge or cause to be charged, except as hereinafter provided, a greater sum for the use of a cab than in accordance with the rate schedule of fares for service from Newark Liberty International Airport when conveying one or more persons (in the same group) to any point in any municipality in New Jersey other than those specified in special areas and to any point in New York City, excluding tolls.

There is a 10% senior citizen discount (62 years and older) upon presentation or proper identification.
